Ajay Devgn Hits Back At Tanushree Dutta's Allegations: "I Am Extremely Sensitive To The #MeToo Movement"

Ajay Devgn has reacted to Tanushree Dutta's statement in which she called Devgn a "hypocrite" and slammed the actor for having Alok Nath in his upcoming film.

Tanushree Dutta hit the headlines last year after she brought the #MeToo campaign in the limelight in India and accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment.  The actress sparked the Me Too movement in the country during which many women from different walk of life spoke came out and talked about their horrifying experience.

Recently, Tanushree slammed actor-producer Ajay Devgn for collaborating with rape accused Alok Nath in the upcoming film De De Pyaar De. And now, Ajay released a statement as a reply to Tanushree Dutta's open letter.

On Thursday, Ajay Devgn has issued a statement on working with the #MeToo movement accused Alok Nath. His post read,

However, the actor claimed that Alok worked on the film much before the accusations surfaced and how dropping him from the project would have been very difficult. He further said, “I am extremely sensitive to the #MeToo movement.”

Earlier, in her scathing letter, Tanushree said that the film industry was full of "liars, showoffs, and spineless hypocrites.
