After the debacle of Thugs of Hindostan, Aamir Khan is getting himself back to work with new projects. He is even losing his weight for it.
The first project which was taken into consideration is Mogul, an abiotic film about Gulshan Kumar’s life. The film’s producer Bhushan Kumar is the son of a music mogul, and the former director was Subhash Kapoor. Unfortunately, Aamir Khan has recently stepped down from the film after director Subhash Kapoor was alleged for sexual assault.
Stepping Down For The Movie
In 2014, actor Geetika Tyagi filed an allegation against director Subhash for abuse and molestation. Following the #MeToo movement, which is sweeping over Bollywood recently, the charge has emerged once again. In response to this issue, Aamir and his wife Kiran has stated that they had no tolerance for any kind of sexual and predatory misbehaviour. Noticing that they are going to work with a person who is accused of sexual misbehaviour, the couple decided to step away from the project without any conclusions or aspersions.
He Is Planning To Return
A source, however, reveals that Aamir is considering to come back to the project as he is fond of playing the role with mogul music. The producer Bhushan Kumar also promises to find a new director to lead the project. The casting process is about to finish, and the film shooting will start as soon as possible when the new director is all set.
Another Unconfirmed Project
Mahabharata is reportedly another dream project which Aamir will take part in. Even when the actor has not issued any solid confirmation on it yet, Shah Rukh Khan has leaked hints at it. On talking about the role he wants to play in Mahabharata, Shah Rukh chose Krishna. However, he also added that it is impossible for him to make it as Aamir will take this role.
