Aamir Khan Returns To Headline The Gulshan Kumar Biopic “Mogul”

Aamir Khan had earlier walked out of Mogul because a woman had accused its director Subhash Kapoor of sexual harassment. However, the superstar is now back to headline and co-produce the project again

Aamir Khan is all set to play the lead role in the forthcoming biopic based on the eventful life of late T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar. Titled Mogul, the biopic is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, the son of Gulshan Khan. Apart from playing the male lead, Aamir Khan will be co-producing the movie along with Bhushan Kumar.

For the uninitiated, Mogul was announced with superstar Akshay Kumar. However, much to the surprise of everyone, the actor walked out of the project months after signing it on the dotted line. Reportedly, Kumar had some creative differences with the makers and hence decided to bow out of it.

After his exit came Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. He was set to play Gulshan Kumar in the biopic along with co-producing it. However, before the film could mount the shooting floor, its director Subhash K Kapoor was embroiled in a sexual harassment controversy, which led Aamir Khan to drop out of the project. But the superstar is finally back to do the film.
