Barkha Bisht Kicked About Her Digital Debut With Bengali Web-Show “Kamini”

Barkha Bisht is returning to her roots! Did not get what are we talking about? Well, the immensely talented actress is all set to make a comeback to the Bengali film industry after a long time. Most recently seen in filmmaker Omung Kumar’s moderately successful biographical drama PM Narendra Modi (2019), Barkha Bisht is now gearing up to make her digital debut with a Bengali series titled Kamini.

The actress has been shooting for the series for a while now. She also shared some pictures on her social media platforms, teasing her fans about her upcoming work. Kamini will stream on popular streamer Hoichoi which caters to the Bengali speaking audience. Talking about the character that Barkha Bisht plays in the series, it remains a mystery throughout the show.

Bisht is quite excited about starring in a horror-comedy series. Talking about Kamini, she says,

Kamini revolves around Samya and Arnab, two private detectives, who plan to solve the mystery surrounding Kamini. They reach her village where a village girl Bijli helps them break the myth. Meanwhile, Samya’s girlfriend Sreemoyee too arrives at the village to reveal the dark past and hidden truth of Samya to everyone. Will she be able to save them before they get cursed by the legend of Kamini is what forms the crux of the story.

Besides Barkha Bisht, Kamini also features Saurav Das, Apratim Chatterjee and Poulomi Das in important roles.
