Paayal Rajput Signed On To Play First Woman Pilot Of Indian Air Force

Paayal Rajput is a popular name in showbiz. She catapulted to fame after starring in several popular Hindi shows, and from there on, she went on to make her silver screen debut with the Punjabi film Channa Mereya in the year 2017. After gaining popularity as an actress with talent, Paayal Rajput made her Tollywood debut with the film RX 100 (2018) and stunned everyone with her gorgeous looks and great acting abilities. Her performance in the Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Venky Mama (2019) also earned her a lot of praises from various corners.

The actress has received a lot of film offers lately. She has just been confirmed to play the first woman pilot of Indian Air Force in an upcoming film titled Narendra. The film will be directed by Jayanth C Paranjee who makes his directorial debut with the project. The debutant director is teaming up with newbie Nilesh for the film, who plays the male lead in it.

The forthcoming film will also see the former World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler the Great Khali, making his Tollywood debut and will reportedly essay a pivotal role in the film. He has also given several cameos in Hollywood movies like The Longest Yard and Get Smart.

Set at the backdrop of the India-Pakistan border, the film reportedly shows how the boxer has been failing to make progress in the Pakistani jail and how he manages to escape from there. The team has reportedly completed 80% of shoot so far.

The movie has the music composed by the Bollywood’s famous musician Ram Sampath who has composed for films like Delhi Belly (2011), Talaash (2012), Fukrey (2013) and Raees (2017). It will be produced by Eshaan Entertainments Banner.

Besides Narendra, Paayal Rajput is also shooting for her Tamil film Angel. It marks her debut in the Tamil film industry. The horror film is being helmed by K. S. Adhiyaman and also stars Udhayanidhi Stalin and Anandhi in lead roles.
