Nidhhi Agerwal Stars Opposite Ram Pothineni In iSmart Shankar – A Film By Puri Jagannadh

Actress Nidhhi Agerwal has been confirmed to play a part in the next film by director Puri Jagannadh - iSmart Shankar.

Nidhhi Agerwal has gained considerable recognition from the public after the film Mr. Majnu, a 2019 Telugu romantic comedy-drama film directed by Venky Atluri and starred Akhil Akkineni and Nidhhi Agerwal in lead roles. The actress was also rumoured to play a part in the next movie of Puri Jagannadh, starring opposite with actor Ram Pothineni who is well-known for his Telugu films. And now there has been an official confirmation that Nidhhi Agerwal will take the lead role in iSmart Shankar.

The actress has made a remarkable debut in Telugu films with Savyasachi, an Indian action film directed by Chandoo Mondeti and starred Naga Chaitanya as the male lead. After that, she took part in acting in Mr. Majnu, alongside her brother Akhil.

As for director Puri Jagannadh, he is a film director, screenwriter, and producer working mainly in the Telugu cinema. He made his debut with the film Shart: The Challenge in 2004 has received Nandi Award three times during his career. Unfortunately, Puri Jagannadh has faced repeated failures with his movies lately, and he is hoping to make a successful comeback with the film iSmart Shankar. He will collaborate with Charmme Kaur in making this film.

The film has been shooting for 2 days now.

Together with Nidhhi and Ram, many other film stars including Satya Dev, Puneeth Issar, Ashish Vidyarthi and Milind Gunaji will also play the critical parts in this film. The music of the film will be composed by Mani Sharma.

The film Mr. Majnu of Nidhhi Agerwal has met with mixed reaction from the critics. Janaki K has written in a review that Mr. Majnu had many different segments and if Venky could get rid of all those inconsistencies, the film could become an award-winning one.
