The lavish multi-day wedding celebrations of Isha Ambani, the daughter of nation’s richest man, is now the talk of the town.

International celebrities comprising of Beyoncé, Sachin Tendulkar, Arianna Huffington and especially Hillary Clinton have jetted to India for the nuptials of Isha Ambani.

A host of charted planes landed to Udaipur for the wedding celebrations of Anand Piramal (33) and Isha Ambani (27), which is dubbed “the big, fat wedding.”

Isha is the daughter of tycoon Mukesh Ambani who is known for the wealthiest man of India ranked by Forbes. She will tie the knot with Piramal in Mumbai on next Wednesday, though the celebrations kicked off over the weekend with singing, dancing, feasts, and dozens of post-wedding rituals.

For the uninitiated, Isha graduated from Yale University in 2014 and started joining the board of directors of two firms belonging to the Reliance empire of her father.

The relationship between the Ambanis and the Clintons

As per reports, two families have built up the relationship for over 18 years and met various times either in India or abroad. Hillary Clinton paid a visit to India due to a conference this March, and the political figure reportedly dined with the Ambani family at their Antilia residence which is one of the most extravagantly expensive homes of the world.
