Ranbir Kapoor’s father and senior actor Rishi Kapoor has been leaving for the US to undergo medical treatment for cancer since September last year. Even though he was away from the country, he has kept his fans updated about his current life on social media. Recently, when the whole world is busy with celebrating Mother’s Day and expressing their gratitude towards their mom, Ranbir Kapoor, by contrast, wore his heart on his sleeve about his father’s health.

The actor further revealed that his dad Rishi is doing well and will return home soon; he also feels happy when receiving much positivity from fans. Earlier, the veteran actor officially went public to announce that he is cancer-free. Rishi said,

The senior also stated that this illness had made him closer to his children, especially Ranbir Kapoor. Rishi shared, “My kids Ranbir and Riddhima have really shouldered my problems.”
