Katrina Kaif To Headline Remake Of Korean Film “Miss & Mrs Cops”?

A couple of weeks ago, news came in that Katrina Kaif was all set to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan and Aanand L Rai for a film. SRK and Aanand L Rai will jointly produce the said project under their banners Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions respectively, while Katrina Kaif plays the female lead in it. It is rumoured that the untitled film is a two-heroine project with Kaif playing one of the two female leads.

The latest rumour surrounding the film is that it is a remake of successful South Korean crime comedy Miss & Mrs. Cops (2019). Spilling some beans on the same, a source in the know informs an entertainment portal that National Award-winning actress Vidya Balan might come onboard to play the parallel lead.

“Katrina Kaif, who was last seen in the Salman Khan starrer Bharat (2019), will be taking on the action avatar in the upcoming Hindi remake of Korean crime comedy Miss & Mrs. Cops. The film will have two women protagonists and reportedly, it will be directed by Anirudh Ganapathy who has worked with Aanand L Rai for the longest time. Sadly, SRK will only be a part of the film as a producer. There has been speculation that Vidya Balan would be the other leading lady in the film,” informs the source.

The makers are yet to confirm whether or not the upcoming project is an official remake of Miss & Mrs. Cops, but we are surely excited to see Katrina Kaif in an action avatar and kicking goons. Meanwhile, the beautiful actress is presently busy shooting for filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s next directorial offering Sooryavanshi. The cop film reunites Kaif with superstar Akshay Kumar almost after a decade as the duo last worked together on Farah Khan’s heist comedy Tees Maar Khan in 2010.
