Health Issues Prevent Amitabh Bachchan From Being A Part Of National Film Awards

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan shared on Twitter that he will not able to walk the red carpet of the National Film Awards taking place in New Delhi on December 23^rd. He further added that his illness doesn’t allow him to travel and how unfortunate it is when he can’t get his supposed award. Earlier on Monday, he was announced to win the Dada Saheb Phalke Award.

So this is another time the megastar will miss the ceremony where there will be several brilliant stars from the industry to be honored. He took to his Twitter account to announce the regret:

Several weeks ago, Amitabh also skipped his appearance to the 25^th Kolkota International Film Festival due to his health problem. Sharing the news on his Facebook account, Big B retold that he did prepare a lot for his speech but he couldn’t attend the Kolkota International Film Festival to take a rest. Read his post as below:

On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan has just come back after Chehre shooting in Slovakia. Under super-duper cold weather with lower than zero degree in temperature, the actor was taking the shooting for the film. Rumi Jaffery’s directorial also features Emraan Hashmi in the lead role and the film is slated to launch in April 2020.

Meanwhile, Big B will also make his appearance in Gulabo Sitaco directed by Shoojit Sircar alongside with Ayushmann Khurrana. Apart from it, Amitabh holds some more projects in hand such as Brahmastra under Ayan Mukerji’s direction. The rom-com releasing on the occasion of Valentine next year also stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, and Akkineni Nagarjuna in the main characters.
