The highly anticipated film The Zoya Factor is set to hit the screens on 20 September and it seems like a quirky film. Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor will step into the shoes of Zoya Solanki who is the “lucky charm” of the Indian cricket team and Dulquer Salmaan is the captain.
The movie talks about luck and how this factor plays an important role in one’s life. And it’s no secret that luck really matters in the entertainment industry. Now, Sonam’s friends and Bollywood’s much-loved couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have also opened up on their lucky charm.
Sonam respectively took to her Instagram handle to share videos of her friends talking about their lucky charms as well as superstitions.
After the Sanju actor Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam continued to post a video of his ladylove Alia Bhatt.
In the video, the actress revealed, “If I want something really bad like an award or a film or maybe a holiday, I just act out that particular situation by myself in my bathroom in front of my mirror. That’s my lucky charm... Pretending, acting to myself and putting the energy out there.”
Sharing the clip, Sonam captioned, “@aliaabhatt, your lucky charm describes you best! Good thoughts and good vibes only! Thanks for sharing your lucky little secret!”
For those unversed, talking on the same, Ranbir spilt the beans on his superstitions of spotting black cars en route to school when he was a kid. The actor also revealed that he was little superstitious about the number 8 as he thinks it brings benefits for him.
On the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be sharing the screen space for the first time in the film Brahmastra. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, it’s slated to hit the theatres in 2020. Stay tuned!
