Actress Jennifer Winget To Make Her Digital Debut With Series "Code M"

The most popular actress of Indian television Jennifer Winget is ready to make her digital debut with the web series Code M. The actress will be playing the role of an army officer in the web series.

According to her, the actors portray this kind of a character, there comes a lot of responsibilities with it. Her character, Monica, is clumsy and forgetful but full of zest for life.

"I am really excited to be playing the role of an Army officer. When you portray such a character, there comes a lot of responsibility for it. Realizing how interesting this challenge would be, is the very reason why I took up", Jennifer said in a statement.

Jennifer Winget had previously worked with the producer Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms in the 2000s serial Kasauti Zindagi Ki.

"I am delighted to be making my digital debut with her (Ekta) platform ALTBalaji. This is a character that means a lot to me, and I hope that the audience loves it too," said Jennifer Winget. Code M also stars actor Tanuj Virwani.

Talking to Pinkvilla, the actress revealed how she is critical of her performance and why is she so. She said, "Oh, but that I have always been. Since the time I started acting I have always been like 'I should or could have done this better'. That is why there are so many scenes and episodes that I don’t watch because then I start overthinking about it, little things bother me. I deal with it by not watching it (laughs)."

Code M is the story of an Indian Army lawyer, Monica Mehra, who uncovers an uncomfortable truth while investigating an open and close case of a militant encounter. This truth exposes a secret so explosive that it not only destroys a family in its wake but shakes up the entire Indian Army.
