Ekta Kapoor responded to rumours of Hina Khan’s replacement in her popular show “Kasautii Zindagii Kay”. Khan ended her stint as Komolika in the show to pursue a career in films.

Ekta Kapoor has a number of her shows airing on several channels, but Star Plus’ Kasautii Zindagii Kay holds a special place in her heart. Starring Parth Samthan, Erica Fernandes and Karan Singh Grover, KZK happens to be a reboot version of one of Kapoor’s earlier hit shows which helped her establish herself as the leading content czarina of the Indian television industry.

The reboot version of the old classic show has been doing pretty well on the TRP charts. However, the audience has been missing the presence of one special character on the show for a long time now.

We are talking about the character of Komolika. It has been a couple of months since Hina Khan, who was playing Komolika, opted out of the show. And there have been speculations about her replacement ever since.
