India-China Skirmish, Three Indian Soldiers Were Killed By Chinese Troops On India’s Territory

Three soldiers comprising of the commanding officer of Galwan Valley Army unit, have been killed by Chinese troops in a violent faceoff taking place on Monday night.

India-China political relation is getting more intense than ever and we’re not sure whether the intensity is at its peak or not but the recent fatal accidents leading to the death of three Indian soldiers have sparked anger among the public. Three soldiers comprising of the commanding officer of Galwan Valley Army unit, were killed by Chinese troops in a violent faceoff taking place on Monday night. No prize for guessing, the demise of these soldiers has heightened the tensions on the border between two countries.

The Indian Army went on record to confirm the three deaths. The representative stated that military casualties have been caused on both sides.

“During de-escalation process underway in the Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place yesterday night with casualties on both sides. The loss of lives on the Indian side includes an officer and two soldiers. Senior military officials of the two sides are currently meeting at the venue to defuse the situation.”

According to sources, the late soldiers were in 16 Bihar Regiment, included a soldier, a junior commissioned officer and the commanding officer were killed in a skirmish perpetrated by the Chinese army. As they had refused to leave the Indian territory (Galwan valley), the fight later took place.

In fact, the details about this skirmish are yet to be unveiled and it won’t be known immediately if the casualties have also been seen on the Chinese side.

For those who are unversed, several violent faceoffs have occurred in the valley for more than 5 weeks and now three soldiers were killed. Troops from two neighboring countries came face to face on many occasions.

The first one was reported on 13 May as the Chinese armed force had put up some tents closed to India’s Galwan River.
