Vijay Sethupathi To Join Forces With Mammootty & Nayanthara?

Vijay Sethupathi is currently one of the busiest actors in Tamil cinema. Most recently seen in Tamil neo-noir film, Super Deluxe (2019), the talented actor is busy shooting for his upcoming films day and night. He presently has almost half a dozen movies in his pocket, which will be hitting screens in 2019 and 2020.

Some of the forthcoming films which star Vijay Sethupathi in prominent roles are Laabam, Tughlak, Sindhubaadh, Maamanithan, Sanga Tamizhan, Sethupathi 2, Kadaisi Vivasayi, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Uppena and many more. All these high-profile projects are at various stages of development.

Besides starring in Tamil films, Vijay Sethupathi will soon be seen in a Malayalam film also. Yes, the talented actor is all set to make his Malayalam debut with the upcoming film, Marconi Mathai. Helmed by Sunil Kalathil, the movie has an extended cameo by the actor. Marconi Mathai stars Jayaram and Athmiya in lead roles.

The latest we hear that though his debut film in Malayalam - Marconi Mathai - is yet to hit the silver screen, Vijay Sethupathi has given his nod to star in a yet another Malayalam movie. Yes, you heard that absolutely right!

Speculations are rife down South that impressed by the great acting prowess of the Tamil actor, a well-known Malayalam director had approached him to be a part of his next directorial venture. Interestingly, the untitled film stars Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Mammootty in lead roles.

As per reports, Vijay Sethupathi has given his nod to the project. Apart from Malayalam, the yet-to-be-titled movie may also release in Tamil. An official announcement confirming the development is awaited.
