"Trolls Hurt My Mental Stability", Says The South Star Samantha Akkineni

"I would wake up and the first thing I would do was check for trolls", said the south actress Samantha Akkineni.

Samantha Akkineni would set the screens on fire with her charm with her next Telugu film Oh Baby. The movie is a Telugu remake of the South Korean popular movie Miss Granny.

In an interview during promotions of the film, Samantha Akkineni said to the media portal, weighs in on the trolls, how all the affected her and how she handled all that.

She said, "Trolling did affect me initially, to the extent that I was questioning whether I was going insane. I would wake up and the first thing I would do was check for trolls. It was really, really hurting my mental stability and making me rush to make the wrong decisions".

Speaking about how she handled trolls now, Samantha Akkineni said, "I know there is going to be a troll even before I put a tweet or post a picture. I have gotten so used to what to expect from trolls, that I know exactly what is going to happen."

Samantha Akkineni says that she has learned over a period of time how to handle such situations. "I don't think I have much advice for anyone or much of an explanation on how I got out of such a situation. It was just over time. Now, I am at a point where it's just for fun. I do not respond to that for any sort of annoyance. I am just playing along".

The film is helmed by director BV Nandini Reddy. According to the producers, the movie would relate with every Indian family and they would see their mother and grandmother's lives in it. Apart from Samantha Akkineni, actors like Naga Shaurya, Lakshmi, Rao Ramesh, and Snigdha also plays a vital role in the comedy fantasy film.

It is produced by Suresh Productions, People's Media Factory, and Guru Films. The movie is all set to hit the screens on 5 July 2019.
