Shruti Hassan To Romance Pawan Kalyan In Harish Shankar’s Next?

Shruti Haasan is set to return to films after a gap of more than three years. Buzz has it that she is reuniting with megastar Pawan Kalyan in her upcoming film.

Shruti Hassan, who was last seen in Bollywood film Behen Hogi Teri (2017) opposite Rajkummar Rao, has always enthralled audiences with her endearing performances in movies. The actress, who predominantly acts in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films, is always seen blazing a trail with her noteworthy performances in the films.

Shruti Haasan is set to make her comeback after a huge gap of almost three years. She has a couple of interesting projects on her platter. Reportedly, she is also reteaming with megastar Pawan Kalyan for an upcoming film. Yes, you heard it right!

The forthcoming movie also marks the collaboration of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and director Harish Shankar after nearly five years. The actor has reportedly wrapped up the shoot of Telugu remake of Bollywood film Pink (2016) and now has joined the director for his untitled next. The makers announced the film few days ago but the cast of the film is yet to be finalised.

News has it that Shruti Haasan has been roped in to play Pawan Kalyan’s love interest in the untitled film. The makers are keen on casting her opposite Pawan Kalyan and hence approached the actor for the same. Reports suggest that the actress has heard the script and will soon sign the film on a dotted line. The production house shared the collaboration of the actor and director on their Twitter handle.

The duo has given Tollywood a hit called Gabbar Singh which hit the marquee in 2015. If reports are to be believed and if all goes well, it will mark the second collaboration of Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hassan. Meanwhile on the work front, the actress is currently shooting for Ravi Teja’s Krack and Tamil film Laabam. Krack is being directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by B Madhu under the banner of Saraswathi Films Division.
