Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film Zero will hit the theatre on 21st December. And as the film marked the reunion of the three Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, it’s expected to have an outstanding performance at the cinema. Not only the famous cast but also another primary factor like twist-filled storyline, catchy and well-picturised song will be icing on the cake.

Trade analyst Akshay Rathi is certain of the film’s opening day can earn up to Rs 30 Crore or even more.

Moreover, Rathi figure out the possibility that the film can crossing Rs 100 Crore. The expert affirmed that the film can cross Rs 100 crore in three day if that is a good film. Took Thugs of Hindostan as an example, he said the opening day brought Rs 50 crore in revenue, but on the second day, the disappointing content made sale plunged approximately 50 percent.

“After the third day, where the movie will head to, will purely depend on the merit of its content. Aanand should create his magic yet again and make the audiences come to the cinemas”, Rathi stated.

However, Rathi is of the opinion that Zero’s opening day hardly beat Thugs of Hindostan on its first day because of two factors: release date and competition.

Ranveer Singh Rohit Shetty Simmba
Shahrukh Khan's film and Simmba of Ranveer will clash at the box office

When asked if Simmba would be another competitor in the box office, Rathi kept the faith that if Zero has a good performance, Simmba of Ranveer Singh won’t be a big contestant.
