Salman Khan To Make Hindi Remake Of Award Winning Marathi Film "Mulshi Pattern"

The film talks about how the economic liberalization of 1991 had a very negative impact on the farmers in Pune and how the program pushed Pune's farmers towards crime.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is further cementing his foot as a strong producer. Salman Khan is all set to produce the remake of hit Marathi film Mulshi Pattern for Bollywood. The rights of the film have been sold by Punit Balan, Chairman and Managing Director of Punit Balan Group and S Balan Group.

As mentioned earlier the film would be made in Bollywood and in the lead role would be Salman Khan's brother-in-law Ayush Sharma. The film will be Ayush's second film and shooting for the same is expected to be kicked started very soon.

When asked about working with Salman Khan, Punit said, "Mulshi Pattern was a super hit in Marathi. The storyline was very strong. When Salman Khan saw the movie along with Arbaaz Khan, Salman decided to remake it in Hindi. He will be casting Aayush Sharma in the Hindi remake."

Starring Om Bhutkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Mohan Joshi, the story is about the unending corporate greed and how the farmers are forced to give up their lands. The film also saw the director taking an interesting role of a gangster and filled the spot effortlessly by his acting.

The film was a critical and commercial hit in Marathi and it would be interesting to see how the film is fair in Bollywood. The film kept its audience hooked with its interesting way of narration and the twists and turns in the tale.

Talking about working with Salman Khan films, Punit said, "I discussed the film with Salman’s Salman Khan Films (SKF) Productions and almost everything is finalized. The film conveys a very strong social message, I am happy to see it reach a larger audience."

If the film is made well, giving justice to all the characters that were seen in the original movie, it is sure that the film will click with the mass and has the potential to perform well in the box office.
