“RRR” Update: Title & First-Look Poster Of The Film To Be Out On August 15

After the humongous success of "Baahubali: The Beginning" and "Baahubali: The Conclusion", celebrated South Indian filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli is coming up with yet another multi-starrer tentatively titled "RRR".

RRR, which is the tentative title of renowned filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s forthcoming directorial venture, is one of the most awaited films in India. This will be the first outing of Rajamouli after the earth-shattering success of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017) and hence, expectations are sky-high from it.

While the shooting of the much-awaited film is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad, fans are eager to know the official title of RRR. If you too have been waiting for the title of the movie with bated breath, here is the good news for you!

According to reports, the makers are looking at announcing the official title of the Telugu biggie along with its first-look poster on upcoming Independence Day on 15th August. Though there is no official word on the same, insiders reveal that 15th August is the day when the first official communication of the movie will be out for the audience.

RRR stars Telugu megastars N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan in lead roles, while Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt also play significant characters in the movie. The film reunites superstar N. T. Rama Rao Jr. with S.S. Rajamouli after a massive gap of 12 years. They have previously worked together on such hit films as Student No. 1 (2001), Simhadri (2003) and Yamadonga (2007).

Talking about the storyline of RRR, the historical drama tells a fictional story revolving around legendary freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.  They fought valiantly against the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan play Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem respectively.

Bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment, RRR is scheduled for its worldwide theatrical release on July 30, 2020. Besides Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, the big-ticket film will also release in several other popular Indian languages.
