Revathy To Deliver Bharatanatyam Performance After 15 Years

Actress-filmmaker Revathy started learning Bharatanatyam at the tender age of seven. She continued performing even when she was at the peak of her career as an actress.

Revathy is not only an actress and filmmaker, but she is also a Bharatanatyam aficionado. People who have closely followed her career since the very beginning would know that she started learning Bharatanatyam at the tender age of seven. She did not let her passion die for Bharatanatyam even after entering showbiz and continued performing even when she was at the peak of her career as an actress.

After a point, however, Revathy had to give it up. If you missed her Bharatanatyam performances all these years, we have good news for you! After a massive gap of 15 years, Revathy is all set to be back on stage for a Bharatanatyam dance performance. Yes, you heard that right!

The talented actress will perform for her dance school Sri Saraswathy Gana Nilayam’s 80th anniversary this weekend.

On the work front, Revathy is rumoured to be planning a remake of the 1982 film Arth in Hindi. If reports are to be believed, she has roped in Swara Bhasker and Jacqueline Fernandez to play the lead roles in the film. However, an official announcement is awaited.
