Ravi Teja is presently busy shooting for Krack, the next directorial offering of Gopichand Malineni. The film stars him in the role of a tough cop.

While the superstar is busy shooting for Krack, we now hear that he is set to join forces with writer-turned-director Vakkantham Vamsi. This will be the 69^th film of the superstar’s glorious career.

According to reports, Ravi Teja and Vakkantham Vamsi are coming together for the first time. The superstar has reportedly given his nod to the untitled film. The project is expected to hit the shooting floor after the actor finishes his current project. As far as the genre of the film is concerned, there is no update on the same. Casting process for rest of the cast is underway. The makers are planning to officially announce the project soon.

As a writer, Vakkantham Vamsi has several successful films to his credit. After establishing himself as one of the most successful writers in the industry, he went on to make his directorial debut with Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India (2018), an action entertainer written and helmed by him.

Jointly produced by Sridhar Lagadapati, Sirisha Lagadapati, Bunny Vas, Sushil Choudhary and K Nagendra Babu under the banner of Ramalakshmi Cine Creations, Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India was headlined by Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel. Boman Irani, Arjun Sarja, R Sarathkumar and Thakur Anoop Singh also played important roles in the superhit Telugu movie.
