Raveena Tandon Opens Up About Her Role in “KGF: Chapter 2”

Raveena Tandon is returning to grace the silver screen after a gap of three years. She plays a powerful role in “KGF: Chapter 2”.

Raveena Tandon, known for her great acting prowess, makes sure to keep audiences hooked to their seats with her engrossing performances. The actress has been a part of several notable films and has numerous awards and accolades to her name. She gained immense recognition for delivering powerful performances in such critically acclaimed movies as Shool (1999), Bulandi (2000) and Aks (2001).

With her nonpareil talent, she went on to take centre stage in many movies. After proving her mettle in Bollywood, Raveena Tandon also forayed into Kannada film industry. She made her debut in Kannada with the film Upendra (1999) and now she is all set to return after a long gap of two decades.

Raveena Tandon, who was last seen in award-winning filmmaker Onir’s Shab (2017), is gearing up to star in Kannada superstar Yash’s multilingual film KGF: Chapter 2, which is a sequel to the highly successful film KGF: Chapter 1 (2018). The actress is all praises for the director of the film, Prashanth Neel. She said that she has been fairly impressed by the storyline of the film and that the director had brought to her the script even before she watched the first part.

Praising the film, she said that later when she watched the film she was blown away by its edgy-new age cinema approach. She also said that she had to thoroughly understand the narrative and its course in the second part. She said that her character in the sequel was very powerful and she couldn’t say no to it.

Apart from Yash and Raveena Tandon, KGF: Chapter 2 also features Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. Dutt plays the lead antagonist on the movie. Srinidhi Shetty and Anant Nag also have significant roles to play. Currently being shot at a brisk pace, the movie will enter theatres in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
