Ranveer Singh stole the attention away from the pitch during the ICC World Cup India vs Pakistan match on Sunday and sparked several hilarious memes on social media.

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh recently made an appearance at India versus Pakistan ICC World Cup 2019 match at Old Trafford on Sunday and his impressive sense of fashion and passionate energy sparked a meme fest on Twitter.

After the match, Ranveer Singh was seen rushing to the field to give our captain Virat Kohli a hug as the team defeated Pakistan with a considerable margin. The actor was seen in a traditional 80's checkered suit and paired it with a long overcoat and monogrammed Gucci muffler. And it seemed that Ranveer’s outfit to celebrate India’s win turned into material for social media users to create a hilarious meme fest.

During the match, Ranveer sat alongside cricket stalwarts Virender Sehwag and Sunil Gavaskar as he made his debut as a commentator. The Gully Boy star was among some noted commentators involving Sachin Tendulkar, Ramiz Raja, Brian Lara, Sourav Ganguly, and Harbhajan Singh.

Later, Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram to share a video clip of him cheering up when India team defeated Pakistan. His co-star Arjun Kapoor also commented under the post, showering Ranveer with praise for his fashion choice.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ranveer Singh is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ’83. Directed by Kabir Khan, ’83 is the biopic of one of India’s legendary cricketers Kapil Dev.

The film will follow his journey from his childhood days to the time when he became the captain of the Indian cricket team and brought the 1983 Cricket World Cup trophy home.

’83 is slated to hit the cinema on 10 April 2020.
