Pawan Kalyan & Harish Shankar Join Forces For “PSPK 28”

Pawan Kalyan has been hitting headlines quite frequently these days. Lately, he has been in news for his role as a lawyer in the upcoming Telugu remake of superhit Bollywood courtroom drama Pink (2016). In the remake, the superstar is playing the same role which megastar Amitabh Bachchan played in the original.

The latest we hear that Pawan Kalyan has joined hands with filmmaker Harish Shankar who has previously helmed such films as Gabbar Singh and Gaddalakonda Ganesh. The project is currently being referred to as PSPK 28. Leading production house, Mythri Movie Makers, which has bankrolled several successful films like Srimanthudu, Rangasthalam, Dear Comrade and Gang Leader, will bankroll the film.

Fans of Pawan Kalyan have been on tenterhooks for quite some time now. They have been waiting to see the superstar on screen for a long time. And now it seems that his fans have a lot of reasons to rejoice as the superstar is busy signing one film after another.

Speculations are rife that Pawan Kalyan might join forces with director Krish of Vedam and Gautamiputra Satakarni fame for his 27th film. An official announcement on the same is yet to be made. Meanwhile the untitled film PSPK 26, which is the remake of Pink, is being jointly bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju while Nivedita Thomas will play the role of Taapsee Pannu in the movie. Anjali and Ananya Nagalla have also joined the star cast of the much-awaited film.

Pawan Kalyan was last seen in the Trivikram Srinivas directorial Agnyaathavaasi which hit the marquee in 2018. Also featuring Keerthy Suresh, Anu Emmanuel, Aadhi Pinisetty, Kushboo and Boman Irani, the movie was a moderate success at the box-office. In 2019, Pawan Kalyan did not star in any film. His fans are eagerly awaiting the release of PSPK 26 because that is the film which ends the superstar’s sabbatical.
