Nandamuri Balakrishna Gets Mehreen & Payal Rajput To Romance In His Next “Ruler”

Earlier, Kajal Agarwal was also in talks to play one of the leading heroines on the project. However, the actress turned down the offer citing date issues. Some media outlets also reported that Kajal wants to star only alongside new-age actors.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is indeed on cloud nine these days! On one hand, his political career is on rising in the politics of Andhra Pradesh. On the other hand, his much-awaited film Ruler has just found its leading ladies after several heroines turning down the parts in the past few months.

Yes, you heard that right! According to latest media reports, Nandamuri Balakrishna will romance Mehreen Pirzada and Payal Rajput in his much-awaited 106^th film.

This is indeed great news for the senior superstar who has had several disappointments in the recent past. He experienced major setback when Tamil and Telugu versions of his much-ambitious NTR biopic failed to strike any chord with the audience.

However, things seem to have started falling in place for him. Nandamuri Balakrishna has been re-elected as the MLA of Hindupur constituency in the recently concluded Andhra Pradesh elections and now his film Ruler is also about to take off.

Veteran filmmaker KS Ravi Kumar is all set to call the shots for Ruler. Though the makers are tight-lipped about the storyline of the movie, some insiders reveal that it is a cop-drama with all the ingredients of a commercial potboiler. If all goes well, the first schedule of the much-anticipated film will kick-off soon.

After scouting for months on end, the makers have reportedly locked Mehreen Pirzada and Payal Rajput to play the parts. This seems to be the perfect casting for Ruler.
