Kamal Haasan, Siddharth & Rakul Preet Singh Gear Up For “Indian 2” Shoot

Kamal Haasan played the male lead in “Indian”, a sequel to “Indian 2”, as well. Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh are the new additions to the cast of the much-awaited sequel.

Kamal Hassan, known for his nonpareil acting skills, never fails to amaze audiences with his choice of films. Be it the Telugu, Tamil or Hindi film industry, the National Film Award-winning actor has left his indelible impression in all the leading film industries across the country. With an envious repertoire, he manages to enthral the audiences every time he shows up on celluloid with his film.

Kamal Haasan was last seen on the silver screen in the 2018 film Vishwaroopam 2. And now, the actor has reunited for his upcoming film Indian 2 with director Shankar. The makers have already shot some portions of the film in 2019, including a high-octane action sequence involving Kamal Haasan and 2000 junior artistes. It was shot in Bhopal at the cost of Rs.40 crores. According to fresh reports, the team is all ready to restart the shoot for the film in Chennai and will shoot in the first or second week of February.

If reports are to be believed, director Shankar is planning to shoot some of the most important sequences in this schedule which is expected to prolong for about two to three weeks. The film sees Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Kajal Aggarwal playing pivotal roles. All the aforementioned actors are also expected to shoot for Indian 2 in the upcoming schedule.

According to reports, Kamal Hassan had undergone a surgery to remove the titanium rod placed in the leg. Also, earlier, director Shankar had shot some important portions of the film in Gwalior and Chennai. The shooting of the film is expected to be finished by the end of the year as the makers are planning to take the film to theatres in 2021. Produced by Lyca Productions, Indian will have the music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
