Jayam Ravi Starrer “Bhoomi” Set To Hit Cinemas On May 1

Jayam Ravi has been paired opposite Nidhhi Agerwal in “Bhoomi”. Helmed by Lakshman, the much-awaited film has locked the date for its theatrical release.

Jayam Ravi, who is presently busy shooting for his forthcoming films, will have his next date with cinemas on 1^st May, 2020. If you have been waiting to see the star in a film with bated breath, get set to watch his much-awaited film Bhoomi in theatres on 1^st May. It is the 25^th film of the actor’s career.

Though nothing much is known about the upcoming film at the moment, some industry insiders had earlier informed that it revolves around the plight of farmers. Jayam Ravi will be seen playing a former in the flick.

The film has been produced by Jayam Ravi's mother-in-law Sujatha Vijayakumar under the banner of Home Movie Makers. D. Imman is the music director of the film. The first poster in which Jayam Ravi was seen along with a group of old farmers gives an idea that the film will be intense and packed with issues faced by farmers in the state.

Apart from Bhoomi, Jayam Ravi will also be seen in celebrated filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s next directorial offering Ponniyin Selvan which is currently being shot in Thailand. The multi-starrer film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Jayaram, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The period drama, produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's historical fictional novel of the same name.
