Anushka Shetty And R. Madhavan Starrer “Silence” To Arrive On April 2

Anushka Shetty was last seen in horror thriller “Bhaagamathie” in 2018. She returns to grace the silver screen with yet another horror film “Silence”. The multilingual film also stars R. Madhavan.

Anushka Shetty, known for delivering power-packed performances in a number of successful films, is one of the most sought-after actresses working in Tamil and Telugu movies. She predominantly appears in Telugu films, but her fanbase spreads across the entire country, thanks to the stupendous success of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017).

The actress, who shot to fame with her Telugu movie Super (2005), has always garnered positive response for her performances. She has several prestigious awards under her belt, including the Nandi Special Jury Award and the Filmfare Best Telugu Actress Award, to name just a few.

Anushka Shetty was last seen in the film Bhaagamathie (2018), a horror flick which went on to do great business at the box-office. The actress also did a blink-and-miss role in Telugu magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (2019). And now, she is all set to be seen in yet another horror film after Bhaagamathie.

Titled Nishabdham, the multilingual film is being directed by Hemanth Madhukar of Vastadu Naa Raju (2011). It is set to release on April 2. Touted to be a murder mystery, the film sees the actress in a never seen before role. It also stars R. Madhavan and Anjali in pivotal roles. The other star cast of the film which includes Shalini Pandey, Michael Madsen, Subbaraju and Avasarala Srinivas. The film has the music by y Gopi Sundar and cinematography by Shaneil Deo.

The multilingual film is being shot in Telugu, English, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. The major portion of the movie was shot in US. It also sees popular Tollywood script writer turned director Kona Venkat as one of the producers on the project.
