Akshay Kumar Recalls Three Films Making A Big Turning In His 3-Decade-Long Career

The 2016 release Airlift has marked a big turning point in Akshay Kumar's acting career to the best phase ever. During three recent years, the superstar had taken up 11 films in his kitty from Airlift to his latest release Housefull 4. As a miracle, despite of various genres of films, all of them have created the buzz and made the fever at the box office. Thus, counting the upcoming hilarious drama Good Newwz, he is going to pack a dozen hits in 3 years.

During a recent interview in the promotion of Good Newwz, the Khiladi of Bollywood opened up about his long-way career. Since then, he learned a big lesson of taking multiple genres of film to diverse the characters. At the first phase of his professional life, he commited the mistake of following only one genre of action films.

When changing to join some comedies, Akshay revealed that it's just that kind of flow and he hadn't thought too much about it. He further added that the director of the film had led him like a captain of a ship and he did pray for not being on the second Titanic.

On being asked about the films defining his career path throughout the time, Akshay said to Filmfare that they are Sangharsh, Jaanwar, and Heri Pheri. Also, he mentioned the filmmakers in support for him including Priyadarsgna, Neeraj Vora, and Rajkumar Santoshi.

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Good Newwz directed by Raj Mehta is going to hit the theatres on December 27th this year, on a crash with Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 at the box office. In 2020, the actor will make his appearance in a package of four films such as Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, Prithviraj, and Bachchan Pandey. On the work front, he also announced his next at the beginning of 2021 named Bell Bottom.
