Train Station Singer Ranu Mondal Records Her First Song With Musician Himesh Reshammiya

As promised by singer and composer Himesh Reshammiya, Ranu Mondal is doing playback for his next film Happy Hardy and Heer.

Perhaps the name Lata of Ranaghat or Ranu Mondal rings a bell with many of us, as the woman turned out to be an Internet sensation overnight after a viral video of her singing Lata Mangeshkar song, Ek pyaar ka naagma.

Yes, now she has gotten a makeover and praises from the public. Not just this, she also becomes a playback singer for a film. As promised by singer and composer Himesh Reshammiya, she is doing playback for his next film Happy Hardy and Heer.

For those who are unversed, Ranu shot to fame thanks to her video singing at a railway station in Kolkata. Post that she got the invitation from the show called Superstar Singer where she and Himesh met each other. Together with Javed Ali and Alka Yagnik, the musician was also the judge of the show.

Recently, the versatile artist made headlines as he took to his Instagram to share a video of Ranu recording a song from his upcoming film in a studio.
