The tycoon Mukesh Ambani must shell out big bucks for a private Beyonce concert at daughter Isha’s pre-wedding celebrations.

While fans on Twitter find it hard to believe the news that international R&B star Beyonce will perform at Isha’s pre-wedding event in Udaipur, more information has been revealed now. Numerous reports have tried to calculate the amount of money Ambani had to pay for US singer's private appearances, the total sum is estimated between around $3 and $4 million, equal to Rs 21-28 crore.

Time magazine reported, ‘Queen Bey’ made above $3 million for her performance at Coachella festival this year, but according to organizers, the real total money could reach around $4 million per show. “The headliners like Radiohead, Beyoncé, and Kendrick Lamar, respectively... would receive between three and four million dollars for playing,” said Paul Tollett, A New Yorker profile of Coachella.

Beyonce was on the list of the world's highest-paid women in the music industry in 2017, standing on the top three, pulling in exceeding $105 million. According to Bloomberg, tycoon Mukesh Ambani already paid out more than $100 million which roughly translates to Rs 722 crore for his daughter's lavish pre-wedding celebration.

Also present at the celebrations were Indian and international celebrities such as Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and singer Nick Jonas. Other guests such as secretaries of former US Hillary Clinton & John Kerry, industrialists Ratan Tata and Kumar Mangalam Birla and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also attended the events.

A report from Bustle said that the US singer is not the most expensive headliner invited to perform. That honor goes to  Jennifer Lopez, the star commanded a $5 million appearance fee to play at a billion dollar wedding. According to Billboard, a Texas investor paid The Rolling Stones $7 million to play a one-hour show at his 60th birthday party in 2002. Glamour UK reported that the pop diva Christina Aguilera earned a staggering $1 million dollar paycheck for just one hour of singing at a private Halloween party in 2010. Meanwhile, according to Contact Music, Beyonce's husband - Jay Z received an estimated $1 million for a similar New Year's Eve performance.

Isha, the daughter of Asia’s richest man - oil-and-telecom tycoon Mukesh Ambani and Anand Piramal, the son of billionaire Ajay Piramal in India, will tie the knot on December 12 in Mumbai.
