Anti Retroviral Therapy (SRT) pension

(Rs. 2250/- monthly)

6 months continuous treatment on Anti Retroviral Therapy (even covered in other YSR Pension Kanuka scheme)

No age limit

Chronic Kidney Disease of unknown etiology (CKDU) pension

(Rs. 10000/- monthly)

Undergoing continuous kidney dialysis or CKDU (even covered in other YSR Pension Kanuka scheme)

Transgender pension

(Rs. 3000/- monthly)

Transgender of 18 years old and above
Fisherman pension

(Rs. 2250/- per monthly)

 Fisherman of 50 years old and above
Single women pension

(Rs. 2250/- monthly)

Married women: 35 years old and above, separated or deserted for more than 1 year

Unmarried women: 30 years old and above for Rural areas, or 35 years old and above for Urban areas, having no support of family

Dappu artists pension

Besides those requirements for each category, applicants must satisfy these YSR Pension Kanuka eligibility criteria as follow:

  • The proposed beneficiary shall be from BPL family holding white ration card.
  • He/she shall be a local resident of the district.
  • He/she are not covered under any other Pension Scheme.

Documents required for YSR Pension Kanuka application:

  1. Photograph of applicant
  2. Proof of Age
  3. Aadhaar number
  4. Savings Bank account number
  5. Death certificate of husband in case of widows
  6. Xerox copy of registration in Cooperative society of Toddy Tappers
  7. SADAREM Certificate in the case of persons with disabilities 40%
  8. Weavers should submit a Xerox copy of registration in Co-operatives society of weavers

How to apply for YSR Pension Kanuka

Below is the process when one applies for YSR Pension Kanuka

  1. Applicant apply through Grama Panchayat by filling in application form and submitting all needed documents.
  2. Janmabhoomi Committees verify details of applicant after getting the application form from Grama Panchayat.
  3. Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO)/Municipal Commissioner to DRDA upload eligible list to DRDA system.
  4. MPDO/ Municipal Commissioner release funds to Panchayat Secretary or Bill Collector.
  5. A Pensioner ID is provided to the pensioner; all details of pensioner can be checked online.
  6. Panchayat Secretary or Bill Collector disburse pensions to the pensioners/ ward in the presence of Sarpanch/ Ward Member and members of Gram Panchayat/ Ward.
  7. Bio-metric devices and tabs are deployed to the pension disbursement officers to pay amount to pensioners monthly.
  8. Pension is disbursed on 1st of every month at a fixed place and time slot assigned by committee. Door step payment is given for bedridden and Leprosy pensioners.
  9. A Rupay card is provided to pensioners and the pension money is disbursed through an ATM.

The amount of YSR Pension Kanuka varies in categories as stated by the government of Andhra Pradesh as below!
