Posting a lot of selfies on your social media accounts not only makes your family and friend want to unsubscribe to you but also represents an obvious sign that this relationship is quite disturbing. As stated by Nikki Goldstein who is a sexologist, couples who don’t feel self-assured of their relationships tend to look for validation by posting as many selfies as possible on their social media accounts.

In one interview with the renowned magazine Daily Mail, Dr. Goldstein reveals that "Often it is the people who post the most that are seeking validation for their relationship". She keeps on sharing that the clearest motivation for posting such relationship selfies lies in the fact that it guarantees to provide the “up” for those who are making a great effort in maintaining their relationship.

Besides, the comments and likes of these photos will affirm that this relationship is somewhat worthwhile. Apart from seeking validation from posting selfies, couples who pay a lot of concentration on taking photos or using the filters for these perfect pictures also fail to take advantage of the precious moment. To be more specific, these couples spend too much time on posting selfies online and counting each like and comment rather than gets together with their beloved partners.
