Burberry Noose Hoodie

Introduced in London Fashion Week, the luxury item from Burberry has nothing different from the usual one except a noose around the neck. Some people even call it a “suicide hoodie”. Model Liz Kennedy is against this design saying that "Suicide is not fashion."

Gucci Blackface Hoodie

Another bizarre hoodie comes from the Italian fashion house Gucci. They have come up with a hoodie which resembles blackface, a form of theatrical make-up to caricature black people. The polo neck stretches up to cover the nose and form a mask around the face. It has a cut out to show the mouth with a thick red line around the lips.

Due to the wave of criticism, the brand had to remove it from stores and issue an apology.

Thong Or Naked Jeans

Meiko Ban, a Japanese designer, has released a design called thong jeans at Tokyo Fashion Week. The jeans, as they’re called, are the seams only with the whole legs are showed.

Reverse Denim

Boohoo.con, an online fashion retailer in the UK, has sold their reserve denim at 20 pounds (over Rs 1,800). The jeans are literally in reserves with clear stitching lines and large pockets.

Bare Butt Denim

Vetements, a France-based company which owns the brand Levis, showcased their Bare Butt Jeans with zippers on the back centre seam. It means that your whole bottom will be shown when it’s unzipped.

Meat Dress

This design from singer Lady Gaga it unforgettable. Showing up at 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, she donned a raw beef dress which was condemned by animal rights groups. The Time, however, named it as of the top fashion statements of the year 2010.
