Furthermore, her post with pictures of the letter on 4.6 million followers Instagram account – the royal family – also marked the opening of the new centre of the Science museum – Smith Centre.

The Queen did not forget to tag the Science Museum on her post but it is obvious that there is no hashtag used on the caption.

During the exhibition, besides the letter, the enigma code machine from World War Two as well as the original version of the NeXT computer, as known as NeXTcube, also had the attention of Queen Elizabeth. Additionally, The NeXTcube displayed in the exhibition is the one that Tim Berners-Lee used to design the World Wide Web in 1989.

It is not the first activities of Queen Elizabeth on social media. The first tweet of the 92-year-old Queen was in the opening day of Information Age gallery in 2014, also in the Science Museum.

In 2008, Queen Elizabeth uploaded a video on YouTube when she was visiting a brand of Google in London.
