Varun Dhawan Replaces Hrithik Roshan In Brother Rohit Dhawan’s Next?

Varun Dhawan, who is still trying to come to terms with his first flop Kalank (2019), is currently busy with his forthcoming film, Street Dancer. He is also about to commence the first shooting schedule of father David Dhawan’s much-awaited Coolie No. 1, which also stars newcomer Sara Ali Khan.

The comic-caper is an official remake of the Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer, Coolie No. 1 (1995), which has gained cult status over the years.

The latest we hear that Varun Dhawan may also join forces with his filmmaker brother Rohit Dhawan once again. The duo has previously worked together on Dishoom (2016), which turned out to be a big box-office hit.

According to reports, Junior Dhawan has replaced superstar Hrithik Roshan in the film.

Following the news of Hrithik Roshan walking out of the high-profile film, which producer Sajid Nadiadwala is set to bankroll, it is rumored that Varun Dhawan has reportedly come on board to replace him.

Roshan, who had earlier agreed to do headline the movie, decided to opt out of it for reasons best known to him. Now, Varun Dhawan is likely to take up the role instead.

Besides this untitled film with brother Rohit Dhawan, Varun Dhawan is also rumored to be doing an out-and-out commercial entertainer with filmmaker Shashank Khaitan, the director of his megahits Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017). This is a different film and not Rannbhoomi. Rannbhoomi will take some time in hitting the shooting floor.

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is presently busy promoting his upcoming film, Super 30. The hotly anticipated movie is a biopic based on the life of acclaimed mathematician Anand Kumar. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 is set to buzz into theatres on 12^th July 2019.
