Kiara Advani Turned Off Her DM Notifications After The "Leaf Picture"

Actress Kiara Advani has shared in a recent talk that she got many direct messages on her social media account when her topless picture was released. Kiara said after its release, she had to turn the DM notifications off.

She was one of the celebrities who posed for the calendar shoot of photographer Dabboo Ratnani. Her snap went viral as she can be seen posing topless and in wet pulled back hair, hiding behind only a big green leaf.

She was quizzed on how she has replied to the suggestive messages whether she gets any.

According to what she shared, she had turned off several of her DM notis as she had really received those especially after the calendar’s leaf photo went up. She was like “Okay we can’t do this right now.”

The “leaf pic” had its controversial share with plagiarism charges being brought up against the concept. Quickly after that, memes broke out on social media trolling Kiara Advani as well as the photographer. She assured that those memes are not a problem to her and that she sees them as a kind of flattery. She even shared some of the memes herself.

The actress was lately seen in Netflix’s original Guilty and Kiara earned applause for her performance. Talking about her character in the movie, Kiara Advani shared that her role, named Nanki, is a really complex and layer part. Nanki is always wearing a mask and that is far different from the person Kiara is.

Kiara added that the experience of understanding this character’s different shades and to play it was extremely interesting.

Kiara Advani will be seen soon opposite Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The movie is the sequel to the 2007 movie featuring Vidya Balan and Akshay Kumar.
