Coronavirus Outbreak: Parineeti Chopra Earns The Wrath Of Netizens Due To A Post On Social Media

Recently, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra found herself at the center of controversies as she invited the wrath of people for a post on Twitter and Instagram related to Coronavirus.

The whole world is now gripped by the fear of the spread of deadly Wuhan Coronavirus which has already taken a toll on the health and even lives of numerous people. The fact is that despite the extra effort of the doctors, scientists, and experts, the situation has still been worse in China now where has suffered the maximum impact of this virus. However, the matter of worry is now lying in the fact that it has started spreading across many other countries and India has recorded the first case positive with nCoV.

Recently, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra found herself at the center of controversies as she invited the wrath of people for a post on Twitter and Instagram related to this ongoing issue. The Kesari star took to her social media handles to share a series of pictures of herself wearing a mask at the airport along with a caption warning everyone stay safe.

She wrote,

However, it seems like her tweet didn’t do down well with the majority as they lashed out at Parineeti for fueling the fear. One said, “don’t spread fear… this is NOT the situation,” while another said, “It didn’t even spread in India.”

Not just this a group of netizens even attacked her for utilizing it to turn into a fashion photoshoot.

Others also slammed her for not donning the correct mask particularly used for preventing this disease. An Instagram user wrote, “This mask is of no use when it comes to nCoV, you should use surgical mask as that prevents from possible infections. The one you are wearing, unfortunately, can’t stop from getting infected.”

Moreover, some laughed at her for intentionally flaunting her Louis Vuitton bag rather than raising awareness about the virus.

The fact is that Parineeti is not the first celebrity who has been trolled for sharing posts on social media about Coronavirus. Earlier, actor Arshad Warsi also faced the same situation.
