While Kangana Ranaut plays safe in a fairytale gown, Deepika Padukone takes a risk on a lime green outfit for day 2 at Cannes 2019. Pictures inside.

On the second day at the Cannes 2019, Kangana Ranaut goes to the ball with a fish-cut ivory gown from Michale Cino and it wouldn't be wrong to say that she appears like a princess. Kangana is known for killing it with her feisty sense of style,  however, this time she chose to play it safe.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone is known for playing it safe on the red carpet of Cannes 2019; in fact, she is regularly criticized for sticking to a certain hairstyle.

Deepika donned a Giambattista Valli lime green dress with excessive tulle.

On the first day of Cannes 2019, Deepika looked like a monochrome princess, having all our jaws dropping and eyes popping out in her cream-colored full-sleeves gown featured long off-white trail, a plunging neckline, thigh-high slit and a structural black bow in the front. Her husband and actor Ranveer Singh and Bollywood celebrities cannot stop drooling over her look.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut brought India to France in a fusion ensemble: a traditional gold kanjeevaram by Madhurya with the most untraditional of accessories - an intricate corset and peplum belt by Shane Falguni Peacock, and a pair of wine-colored gloves that extended beyond her elbows.
