Met Gala 2019: Two Times Deepika Padukone And Priyanka Chopra Turn Heads At The Event's Red Carpet

Fashion industry’s biggest night Met Gala 2019 is around the corner; all eyes are bound to be on the guest list. Met Gala takes place on the first Monday of May, which this year falls on 6 May. And the theme for this year’s event Camp: Notes on Fashion is sure to deliver a lot of over-the-top fashion moments.

Red-carpet coverage features the appearances of A-list attendees typically, and two of most leading Bollywood divas Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were also seen in presence at 2017 and 2018 editions. Deepika Padukone

The Padmaavat star Deepika Padukone opted for Tommy Hilfiger's creation for her Met Gala debut in 2017. The actress donned a satin slip gown mixed with star-shaped hair accessories and diamond earring.

The beauty chose designer Prabal Gurung for her appearance at the Met Gala 2018 where she looked drop dead gorgeous in a red custom made gown featuring a floor-sweeping train and a thigh-high slit.

Priyanka Chopra

For the first-time Met Gala attendance in 2017, Priyanka Chopra went for the custom Ralph Lauren. She was seen donning a glittering gold dress with an impressive plunging neckline. For the unversed, Met Gala 2017 also marked a milestone in the relationship of PeeCee and her husband Nick Jonas as they attended the event the gala together for the first time.

Priyanka’s second outing at this event was also from Ralph Lauren’s creation. The Quantico star stood out when walking the red carpet in a velvet gown accessorized with a bejeweled hood.
