Sonam Kapoor And Akshay Kumar Are Over The Moon With Their Film "Padman" Winning At The 66th National Film Awards

The "Padman" movie has won the Best Film for Social Issues award at the 66th National Film Awards. Sonam Kapoor has recently penned a very heartfelt note for this event.

Padman, which was released in 2018, is the movie made based on a social entrepreneur’s story on manufacturing low-cost sanitary pads for women. His name is Arunachalam Muruganantham and the movie has lately earned the title of Best Film for Social Issues at the 66th National Film Awards.

The film sees the participation of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Akshay Kumar along with Radhika Apte as the main roles. Moreover, Padman was the first production of Twinkle Khanna with filmmaker R Balki. The award bagging made everybody ecstatically happy. Just lately, Sonam Kapoor shared a sincere note regarding the win.
