Akshay Kumar first met Twinkle Khanna during the shoot of Filmfare magazine in which Mr. Khiladi of Bollywood instantly developed a massive crush on the gorgeous author. The couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2001 and since then their love and commitment to each other have time and again made fans weak in the knees.

Meanwhile, the actor has recently taken a break from his busy schedule to enjoy a short holiday with his wife in London before resuming the shoot for Rohit Shetty’s cop film Sooryavanshi as well as kicking off the promotional tour for his upcoming film Mission Mangal. Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal revolves around a group of scientist from Indian Space and Research Organistaion (ISRO), who make great contribution to the success of India's first interplanetary expedition, Mars Orbiter Mission.

The film also features Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Kirit Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, Kirit Kulhari, Sonakshi Sinha and Nithya Menen and is set to hit the cinema on 15th August.
