Zee Cine Awards 2019 Winners List: Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor Pick Up Top Honours

While Deepika won the trophy for the role in the Sanjay Hirani-director Padmaavat, Ranbir got the award for Sanju, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor got the awards of Best Actress and Best Actor at one of the most awaited nights - Zee Cine Awards 2019 held in Mumbai on 19 March. While Deepika won the trophy for the role in the Sanjay Hirani-director Padmaavat, Ranbir got the award for Sanju, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. As expected, the function was attended by a lot of big shots of the film industry including Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and many more.

Other than the top honours, the box office hit Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer AndhaDhun also received several awards comprising of the Best Background Score and Best Editing awards. Ayushmann also picked up the trophy for the Extraordinary Performer of The Year himself for his roles in the films Badhaai Ho and AndhaDhun.
