Cricketer Virat Kohli has been beaten a host of the most valuable Indian celebrities to top the list of Indian celebs once again this year as per the fourth edition of the report from Duff & Phelps. For the record, there has been a growth of 18% in Virat’s brand value which is worth $170.9 million. The fact is that he had endorsed roughly 24 different types of brand in India by November 2018 alone.

Earning the second place is Bollywood star Deepika Padukone who owns the brand value of $ 102.5 million. The actress had also endorsed approximately 21 brands by the end of November 2018.

For the uninitiated, the brand endorsements in India are typically being done by stars from B-town though sportspersons like Virat Kohli is also a force to be reckoned with.  Virat together with his wife actress Anushka Sharma has endorsed about 40 brands in total, including head and shoulders, Pepsi, Fastrack, Boost, Audi, etc.

Virat Kohli is also the first sportsperson who made it to the list of 100 India Celebrity voted by Forbes. The earning of Kohli in 2018 has been Rs 2.28 billion.

Earlier, Virat and his wife were seen celebrating New Year in Australia and Anushka had also shared a photo with her husband on social media to wish their well-wishers on the first day of the year. Along with the image, the actor wrote,

The pictures showing the duo enjoying the gala time right on Sydney streets on the New year’s eve set the Internet on fire. Anushka opted for a shimmering silver off-shoulder figure-hugging dress, while Virat put on black and grey suit.
