Vijay Deverakonda Lands In Mumbai For The Look Test Of “Fighter”

Vijay Deverakonda is all set to make his Bollywood debut with filmmaker Puri Jagannadh’s bilingual film “Fighter”. Ace filmmaker Karan Johar will release the Hindi version of the movie.

Vijay Deverakonda primarily works in Telugu cinema, but his fan following is not restricted to any one particular region of the country. He has his fans spread all across the country and even in other parts of the word. The actor, who shot to fame after the thunderous success of his 2017 film Arjun Reddy, has a number of exciting projects on his platter right now. One of his forthcoming movies is Fighter with filmmaker Puri Jagannadh.

What makes Fighter a special project for Vijay Deverakonda is the fact that it will mark his foray into the Hindi film industry. The upcoming movie will be shot in Telugu and Hindi. Well-known Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is co-producing the film with Puri Jagannath and Charmee Kaur.

According to reports, Vijay Deverakonda is currently in Mumbai for the look test procedure for the upcoming film. The actor, who is looking at sporting a completely new look in the much-awaited movie, has landed in the maximum city to try out his special look for Fighter. We also hear that Karan Johar is taking quite interest in the entire process. He is personally supervising the actor’s look.

A source in the know informs an entertainment portal that Hakim Aalim, one of Bollywood’s most sought-after hair stylists, will be styling Vijay Deverakonda. His costumes and hair are going to be in complete contrast to what the actor has done so far in his previous movies. Vijay Deverakonda is set for his big Bollywood debut with Fighter and filmmaker Karan Johar wants it to be as special as possible.

Before coming onboard to co-produce Fighter, Karan Johar had decided to remake the Vijay Deverakonda starrer Dear Comrade (2019). However, when the film failed to meet the high expectations of the audience, KJo instead decided to invest in Fighter. Talking about the female lead of the film, we hear that Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday are in race to bag the part.
