Urvashi Rautela, the former beauty pageant winner and Bollywood actress, has made a generous donation of ₹5 crores for COVID-19 relief fund.

Urvashi Rautela, the former beauty pageant winner and popular Bollywood actress, has made a huge contribution of ₹5 crore for COVID-19 relief fund. The actress has donated the money to aid the fight against the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, which has claimed over 2000 lives in India alone.

Urvashi Rautela, who was last seen in Anees Bazmee’s comic-caper Pagalpanti (2019), took to her Instagram handle and informed her fans that she had conducted a virtual dance masterclass on TikTok. Her session was free for all those who wished to lose weight and learn dance.

In the session, Urvashi Rautela taught a variety of dance forms including Zumba, Tabata and Latin dance. Her dance masterclass amassed a huge viewership of almost 18 million people from across the globe. The actress revealed that she received ₹5 crore for the same, which she donated towards the Coronavirus relief fund.

Urvashi Rautela said that she is extremely grateful to everyone for whatever they are doing. Not only to actors, politicians, musicians or professional athletes, but also to the common people, because everyone needs to be together and lend their support in this fight against the Coronavirus. She added that no donation is too small, and together we can help the world to beat this.

On the work front, Urvashi Rautela will next be seen in the upcoming film Virgin Bhanupriya. Directed by Ajay Lohan and produced by Shreyans Mahendra Dhariwal, the comedy drama also stars Gautam Gulati, Archana Puran Singh and Delnaaz Irani in important roles.

Recently, the makers dropped the first track from the soundtrack of the film. Titled ‘Beat Pe Thumka’, the peppy wedding number featured Rautela in a gorgeous avatar. The song has been composed by Amjad Nadeem Aamir and penned by Alokik Rahi and Amjad Nadeem Aamir. Popular Bollywood singer Jyotica Tangri has lent her voice to the song.
