On the occasion of the 47^th birthday of Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, one of the most desirable men in India 2020, he made a big announcement about his upcoming project with Deepika Padukone. The film will be helmed by Siddharth Anand who was recently in the news for slapping his assistant controversies on Shah Rukh Khan’s film sets.

The film also marks the first collaboration between two of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. That’s understandable when it becomes one of the most expensive movies of the year. Reports have it that it’s made an extensive budget of around Rs 250 crores.

2. Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in Atrangi Re

Atrangi Re is one of the hotly awaited cinema releases of Akshay Kumar in 2021. He will be sharing the screen space with 25-year-old actress Sara Ali Khan who was last seen in the comedy-drama Coolie No.1. The film was already wrapped up earlier in December 2020.

Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film also features South Indian cinema sensation Dhanush in the lead role. It will be a big film of the year when starring two superstars from two thriving film industries and one rising star representing the millennial generation.

With this pairing, Atrangi Re will be named among Bollywood films with biggest-age-gap relationships when Akshay Kumar is 28 years older than Sara Ali Khan.

Like Atrangi Re, this untitled film also witnesses the historic collaboration between two insanely popular and talented superstars from Bollywood and the South.

The film will be directed by Nag Ashwin. Even though the name of the film is yet to be announced by the makers, it’s hands down another hot film of the year. It’s bound to take the box office by storm.

4. Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan in Dostana 2

Dostana 2 is the sequel to the 2008 hit movie Dostana. Starring two of the most promising actors in town Kartik and Janhvi, the romantic comedy movie is produced by Dharma Productions.

If the above-mentioned movies mostly star big names, Dostana 2 will give off a breath of fresh air into the Hindi cinema.
