Star Screen Awards 2018 Winners List: Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Rajkummar Rao win big

Following several grand and luxurious celebrity weddings and receptions in the Bollywood industry is award functions.  The season of award celebrations has kicked off with Star Screen Awards 2018, which was taken place in Mumbai on Sunday. This function has been graced by a host of Bollywood A-listers. Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rekha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrat Bharucha among others attended at the function.

Unsurprisingly, actor Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor for the role of Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat, one of the biggest hits this year. After winning the accolade, Ranveer took the stage and gave one of the most moving speeches ever. Best Popular Actor (Male) went to Rajkummar Rao for his performance in his upcoming horror comedy titled Stree. Alia Bhatt bagged the Best Actor (Female) award for starring an Indian spy Sehmat in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi.

Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao were awarded the critics awards for Best Actor male and female, respectively for their stellar performance in Amit Sharma’s Badhaai Ho. The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Shabana Azmi while Ishaan Khatter and Radhika Madan won The Best Debut for male and female respectively.

Sriram Raghavan earned The Best Director for his big hit Andhadhun featuring Ayushmann, Radhika Apte and Tabu in pivotal roles whereas the Best Film (critics) was won by Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu’s Mulk.

Actress Katrina Kaif bagged the Best Real Star on Social Media award.
