Sivakarthikeyan's Hero Lands In Trouble, Court Orders Interim Stay On Release

Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming project 'Hero' may postponed the release date as Madras High Court has ordered an interim stay. Read details!

Following a petition filed by TSR Films, the Madras High Court has ordered an interim stay against Hero of Sivakarthikeyan which is scheduled to hit the cinema on December 20.

According to report, the film had loaned Rs 10 crore to 24 AM Studios Pvt Ltd though the loan agreement allowed until September 11, 2018. Reportedly, the loaned funds were used to produce Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film but it then transferred to KJR Studio, which planned to release the film on December 20.

“If the movie is released without settlement of the loan to the applicant (TSR Films) it would cause severe prejudice to the applicant and the funds would disappear in thin air,” the petitioner claimed.

After that, an interim stay has been implied until the next hearing at the beginning of December. Nevertheless, KJR responded that they have no connection with 24 AM Studios.

“We wish to caution general public that KJR Studios had no contact whatsoever with either 24 AM Productions or TSR Films Private Limited with regard to out movie Hero,” KJR studios announced. Also, they warned TSR Films for naming them in this issue.

Lastly, KJR Studios affirmed that Hero will be released as the initial date. Directed by Ps Mithran, the film chronicled a story of a superhero with Sivakarthikeyan starred a vigalante while Abhay Deol played the antagonist.

On the work front, Sivakarthikeyan has a lot on his plate as the actor are busy with two another film project.
